On August 24, Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 2354 / QD-BVHTTDL recognizing Mui Ne Tourist Area (Binh Thuan) as National tourist area.

According to this Decision, the location, size and boundaries of Mui Ne National Tourist Area, Binh Thuan Province are specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of Decision No. 1772 / QD-TTg dated December 18, 2018 of the Prime Minister. The Government approves the master plan on development of Mui Ne national tourism area, Binh Thuan province to 2025, with a vision to 2030.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province to report to the Provincial People's Committee to announce the Decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to recognize the tourist area. According to the plan approved by the Government, Mui Ne National Tourist Area is located on a coastal strip of land from Hoa Phu commune, Tuy Phong district to the end of the boundary of Phu Hai ward, Phan Thiet city; an area of ​​about 14,760 ha, of which the core area for development and formation of functional tourism areas is about 1,000 ha.
The boundary of Mui Ne national tourist area is determined as follows: The North is limited by Vo Nguyen Giap route and provincial roads 715, 716 and 716B; East: border with Luy river and East sea; to the West along the administrative boundary of Phu Hai ward, Phan Thiet city; the South borders on the East Sea.
The goal of Mui Ne National Tourist Area is to focus on investing in perfecting the physical and technical infrastructure of tourism, meeting the criteria of the national tourist area; attracting strategic investors to develop Mui Ne tourist area into an attractive destination, playing an important role in the tourism system of the South Central Coast tourist area and the whole country.
Striving to 2030, this national tourist area becomes one of the top destinations of the Asia - Pacific region.
Binh Thuan tourism is expected to welcome about 9 million visitors by 2025, of which international visitors are about 1.5 million.
Strive to welcome about 14 million visitors by 2030, of which international visitors reach over 2.5 million; The total revenue from tourists by 2025 will reach about 24,000 billion VND, and strive to reach about 50,000 billion VND by 2030; create jobs for about 24,000 people (in 2025) and over 45,000 people (by 2030) ./.
